Hells yes I went to the Static X concert thursday night. Was AMAZING. Static X totally threw down and Shadows Fall was awesome! Got my picture taken with Brian Fair (lead singer of Shadow's Fall... crazy long dreads) and put it up on my webcam. Too bad all I had was my cell phone camera.

But this story was interesting. Went with 4 other people. 3 brothers and my brother's wife's nephew. So... before the first band even goes on, my younger brother (who's 22) bought my brother's nephew a beer (the kid's 17) and he got caught with it, was being led to the front to be arrested and he took off. The kid is fast, scary fast, and three security guards when flying after him, he almost got away but got tackled by them. RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIS UNCLE. So he has to go home, was lucky not to get a ticket or arrested.

Then during the second band right as my older brother was let back into the concert, my oldest brother and younger brother got kicked out for being too drunk and rowdy. The guard was going to talk to them, but they would not shut up and were being assholes. So.... 3 out of the 5 of us were kicked from the concert before the two GREAT bands came on.

Interesting, never doing that again! Next time I go I'm going to purchase an escort for the evening, anyone wanna volunteer?
